Dame Nadine Wyss DBE, OBE (née Coyle; born 15 June 1981) is a Northern Irish singer-songwriter, she is known for being a member of girl group Girls Aloud
Nadine became an established music career during the late 1990's and the early 2000's. She earnt a record deal with JAT Records which was owned by her boyfriend at the time James Harrison. Despite her break-up with Harrison in 2000, the JAT lead singer said that it wouldn't affect her at the company she would remain on the books at the label. Following her releasing her fourth solo album Insatiable her career went down hill as she released three singles which failed to make the UK Top 40. She auditioned for Popstars: The Rivals in 2002 and she joined the winning band Girls Aloud. When she joined the group she didn't lose her solo deal with JAT Records despite the band earning a 5 year contract with the label. She went from near the bottom to be part of one of the biggest Girl Groups on the planet. Under advice of James Harrison in 2012 she released a fifth solo album and her first in eleven years it was entitled Sweetest High it reached Number 1 in the albums chart it also had three number one's with her other two singles reaching number 2 and 4. She announced in 2004 that she was to become a judge on The X Factor she has been on every year she has been the winning mentor just the once in 2007 but has finished second in three consecutive series in 2009, 2010 and 2011 and in 2008 she finished third.
